Forest Time Water 2

Documentation of interactivity of Forest Time Water installation at Jack Straw Cultural Center, 2023. Guitar chords based on sonified climate data describing storm intensity in the North West Cascades for the last 400 years. Lyrics: “To stay where you were born, rooted, we wander in the wake of our mistakes.” Tracks triggered through capacitive sensors and conductive objects embedded in the installation. Software includes Resolume for video interactivity and Ableton Live for sound. Essentially, the installation becomes midi keyboard.
